What would show that a patch works?
Look for a human trial of the finished patch, measured delivery or exposure where relevant, and a meaningful outcome against an appropriate comparison. Studies of oral NMN do not establish skin absorption from a different formulation. A patch's total ingredient content is not the same as the amount absorbed.
What did the Kind Patches ruling find?
In its 2026 ruling, the UK Advertising Standards Authority assessed challenged Kind Patches claims and found the submitted evidence inadequate for the relevant advertising claims. It noted that several cited trials used oral ingredients at different quantities rather than the patch. This is a UK advertising ruling, not an FDA approval decision or a finding about every patch on the market.
Are berberine or moringa patches a weight-loss treatment?
Do not infer that from oral supplement research or GLP-1-related branding. NCCIH notes limitations in the evidence for oral berberine and weight loss. What about side effects?
Adhesives and ingredients can cause local irritation, and an absence of visible irritation does not prove systemic safety. Follow the label and stop using a product that causes a concerning reaction while seeking appropriate advice. Bring the package to a clinician if symptoms develop. Do not assume “no needles” means no need to review ingredients.
Is there a best NAD patch?
We do not have sufficient comparative clinical evidence to name a proven efficacy winner. Before paying, ask for the exact formulation, finished-product trial, return terms, and total recurring cost. Cosmetic under-eye patches are a separate category, discussed in NAD skincare products; a skin-appearance claim is not a whole-body NAD treatment claim.
