NADH is the reduced form of NAD, and it is sold in oral supplements. That makes it a different comparison from a compounded NAD+ injection or an NR capsule.
Some human research has studied NADH together with CoQ10 in people with ME/CFS. A combination trial cannot tell you that NADH alone produces the same result or that the findings apply to every kind of fatigue.

What does NADH do inside cells?
It carries electrons in metabolic reactions and can supply reducing equivalents used in energy production. Cells cycle between NAD+ and NADH. The redox guide explains that chemistry. It does not follow that swallowing the reduced form gives a person more energy than another NAD-related ingredient.
What did the CoQ10 studies examine?
The cited studies evaluated specific combinations in people diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, including fatigue-related measures and exercise outcomes. Their participants, formulations, and durations limit the conclusions. They are useful research leads, but they are not evidence for an ordinary consumer's NAD injection subscription or a universal fatigue treatment.
Should you choose NADH or NAD+?
There is no general winner based on the names alone. Compare the goal, route, exact product, and human evidence. If fatigue is the reason for considering either, seek an assessment of the symptom rather than choosing a coenzyme by its electron content. Our energy guide explains that starting point.
What should an NADH label disclose?
Look for the active amount per serving, complete ingredients, serving instructions, storage conditions, and manufacturer contact information. If CoQ10 is included, identify its amount too. A blend's total weight is not the amount of each component. Do not transfer research doses to your personal regimen without discussing appropriateness with a clinician.
How should you interpret customer reports?
Reports of improved focus or stamina can be sincere without demonstrating causation. Other treatments, sleep, expectations, and the underlying condition can influence an experience. If a clinician supports a trial of a product, agree on what to monitor and when to reassess. Keep adverse effects and cost in that review alongside any perceived benefit.
